Ac Reactor Product Overview
AC Reactors is also called an inductor. An electrical appliance that relies on the inductive reactance of the coil to hinder the change of current is called a reactor. Reactors are often used in filtering, current limiting, compensation, voltage reduction, current stabilization, phase shifting and other occasions. Reactors can convert electrical energy into magnetic energy and generate a certain amount of inductance. The structure of a reactor is similar to a transformer with a winding. The reactor has the function of hindering the change of current. If the reactor is in a state where no current passes through it, it will try to hinder the current from flowing through it when the circuit is connected; if the reactor is in a state where current passes through it, it will try to maintain the current unchanged when the circuit is disconnected. The reactors used in the power system are commonly used in the input reactor (also called the incoming line reactor) dedicated to the frequency converter speed regulator to suppress surge voltage and current and play a current limiting role; the output reactor (also called the outgoing line reactor) dedicated to the frequency converter speed regulator is mainly used to filter out high-order harmonics; the series reactor dedicated to the power supply system of the main distribution room of factories and mines, which is used in series or parallel with the capacitor to play a current limiting and wave suppression role. After the reactor is connected in series in the compensation capacitor group circuit, it can suppress the high-order harmonics of the capacitor branch, reduce the operating overvoltage or limit the fault overcurrent when the power system is short-circuited; the shunt reactor used for reactive power compensation in the high-voltage power supply system is connected between the end of the high-voltage transmission line and the ground. The wave blocking reactor is specially used in the communication industry. It is connected in series in the circuit used by the communication line and the transmission line to block the carrier signal from entering the receiving device. The smoothing reactor is also called the DC reactor, which is used in the DC circuit after rectification; it is used to be connected in series with the motor to limit its starting current. The starting reactor is used to be connected in series with the electric furnace transformer to limit its short-circuit current, and the current limiting reactor is used.
