Ac Reactors And Dc Reactors
AC Reactors and DC reactor are two different types of reactors, which are used in AC circuits and DC system circuits respectively.
AC reactor:
Application scenario: Mainly used in AC circuits, there are three-phase AC reactors and single-phase AC reactors.
Main function:
Suppress the input grid surge current and protect the grid and inverter from damage.
Ensure the three-phase voltage balance of the grid and improve the low-frequency conduction anti-interference.
On the output side, suppress the dv/dt of the output cable and the charging current and ground leakage current between the cable lines. When the output cable exceeds a certain distance, an output reactor is required.
DC reactor (also known as DC smoothing reactor, filter reactor):
Application scenario: Used in DC system circuits, only single-phase1.
Main function:
Limit the AC component superimposed on the DC current to a certain specified value, keep the rectified current continuous, and reduce the current ripple value.
Improve input power factor, reduce and prevent damage to rectifier bridge and overheating of capacitors caused by impact current. Suppress harmonics generated by converters or inverters and reduce harmonic interference. Summary: AC reactors and DC reactors play an important role in power systems and electronic equipment. They provide solutions to specific problems in AC circuits and DC system circuits respectively to ensure stable operation of equipment and power quality of the power grid.
