Constant Voltage Transformer Concept
In the instrumentation device, a stable DC power supply circuit is required to work. With the development of science and technology, the requirements for DC stability are getting higher and higher, which brings difficulties to the design and development of power supply. Constant Voltage Transformer(CVT) is suitable for power supply devices with high stability requirements. It first uses the AC power supply power supply as the first step of AC voltage stabilization, and the stability range can be about 1%, and then after rectification and DC linear series voltage stabilization, the power supply can easily meet the high stability requirements. In electrical equipment with low stability requirements, the constant voltage transformer can be used directly through voltage reduction and rectification, and the DC linear voltage stabilization part can be omitted, and various stable voltages with different outputs can be obtained, and the stability range can be within ±3 quakes. Constant voltage transformers will be widely used in electrical equipment because of their simple structure, easy manufacturing and low cost. In areas where the grid voltage changes greatly, they can withstand a wide range of changes and have constant output, which has practical value.
