Constant Voltage Transformers Are More Expensive Than Common Indoor Transformers
Constant Voltage Transformer(CVT), in addition to the oil transformer, there is the outdoor box transformer. The high-power box transformer uses oil-type and the small-power uses constant-voltage transformer. We are the manufacturer that mainly produces constant-voltage transformers. Today I will explain the difference between ordinary dry-type transformers and constant-voltage transformers? 1. Chassis design. The so-called outdoor is used in the open air. Waterproof, anti-corrosion, rust-proof and anti-aging are basic design requirements. Our constant-voltage transformer has the function of being put into water at 45°. The chassis sheet metal is made of high-quality materials for corrosion resistance and ultra-thick high-end paint treatment, which has the function of high temperature resistance and oxidation resistance. 2. Performance parameters, heat resistance, moisture resistance, stability, chemical compatibility, low temperature resistance, and radiation resistance. The design parameters are higher than those of indoor transformers, so that the product can be used normally in harsh environments such as high temperature, high pressure, high altitude, heavy rain, acid rain, wind and sand, and lightning protection. 3. Installation method. Indoor transformers are equipped with 4 wheels under the chassis for easy movement. There are not many requirements for the installation environment. The constant voltage transformers we produce are mainly divided into two types: on-platform (ground) installation and on-pole (pole) installation. The height of the transformer pier installed on the ground is generally 0.5m. A fence of no less than 1.7m should be installed around it, and warning signs should be hung in obvious places. The pole installation capacity is relatively small. The transformer installed on the rural pole is no less than 2.8 meters from the ground, and the transformer installed in the city is no less than 3.5 meters from the ground. It is widely used in industry, agriculture, transportation, post and telecommunications, military, railways, highways, expressways, docks, scientific research and culture and other fields. Therefore, constant voltage transformers are more expensive than common indoor transformers.
