How to choose Dynamic Voltage Regulator (DVR) for multiple production workshops? How to choose the most reasonable and cost-saving one?

If multiple devices in the whole factory need to install voltage stabilizers, there are generally two options: 1. Install a voltage stabilizer for each device 2. Share a high-power voltage stabilizer for all devices.

The advantages of choosing to install multiple voltage stabilizers separately: ensure that each device can use a stable and pure power supply, convenient later maintenance, and minimize the loss when the voltage stabilizer fails. Disadvantages: high cost.

The machines and equipment used have high requirements for power supply (CNC machine tools, laser cutting machines, precision processing, precision testing instruments, etc.) and two or more devices with different power parameters (different voltages, different power loads) are recommended to install voltage stabilizers separately.

The advantages of choosing to share a high-power voltage stabilizer: low cost, convenient management, maintenance, and inspection. Disadvantages: Once the voltage stabilizer fails, it will cause the loss of power outage and suspension of business in the whole factory.

The machines and equipment used do not have high requirements for power supply (such as motor equipment, air compressor, etc.) and the mains voltage used is relatively stable. If the voltage stabilizer fails and can be used by the mains output, you can choose to share a voltage stabilizer.

Regardless of which of the above methods is chosen to configure the voltage stabilizer, when purchasing the voltage stabilizer, it is recommended that you reserve enough power and use the margin. Do not use it under full load and overload for a long time. It is best to reserve 20% power for the voltage stabilizer. If the inductive load is at least three times larger than the actual power, you should choose a voltage stabilizer. When multiple high-power inductive load devices share the voltage stabilizer, it is recommended to start in batches.
