Measurement Of Resonance Point Of Constant Voltage Transformer

The resonance point measurement of Constant Voltage Transformer(CVT) can be achieved by a method based on a constant voltage source converter and a voltage and current phase difference.

This method includes the following steps:

‌Step 1‌: Use the designed constant voltage source converter to inject a carrier voltage signal with equal amplitude and different frequency into the low-voltage side of the transformer.
‌Step 2‌: Detect the voltage signal U(t) and current signal I(t) on the low-voltage side of the transformer.
‌Step 3‌: According to the sliding DFT algorithm, extract the voltage and current harmonic phase difference of different frequencies on the low-voltage side of the transformer.
‌Step 4‌: Detect the resonance point according to the calculated voltage and current harmonic phase difference at different frequencies.

This method only needs to inject low-frequency carrier voltage signals of different frequencies into the low-voltage side of the transformer, and detect the voltage and current signals on the low-voltage side of the transformer at the same time, so as to realize the automatic detection of the resonance point, without repeated measurement, and simple operation. In addition, this algorithm has a small amount of calculation and fully meets the requirements of real-time online detection and low power consumption.

This method provides an effective and practical way to measure the resonance point of the constant voltage transformer, which helps to ensure the normal operation of the transformer and the stability of the power grid.
