Uninterruptible Power Supply Grid Abnormality
The purpose of using Uninterruptible Power Supply(UPS) is to deal with the following situations that may occur in the power grid:
Power outage (the power grid stops working and there is no voltage output)
Voltage drop (also known as sag, the power grid voltage is 15%-20% lower than the nominal voltage, which may last for several seconds)
Surge (also known as surge, surge, the power grid voltage is instantly higher than the nominal voltage by more than 10%, which lasts for several seconds)
Continuous undervoltage
Continuous overvoltage
Line noise (RF or electromagnetic interference introduced due to poor line shielding)
Frequency drift (power grid frequency deviation caused by generator instability)
Switching transient (also known as transient, voltage deviation caused by switching or discharging of electrical equipment, sometimes up to 20,000 volts, but the duration is extremely short, only a few nanoseconds)
Harmonics (interference to the sinusoidal waveform of AC power generated by electrical equipment with nonlinear characteristics in the power grid)
