Automatic Voltage Stabilizer is a device that stabilizes the output voltage. The automatic voltage stabilizer consists of a voltage stabilizer, a control circuit, and a servo motor. With the rapid development of society, the number of electrical equipment has increased dramatically. Voltage instability occurs frequently, and automatic voltage stabilizers are increasingly in demand in enterprises, factories, homes, engineering construction and other places. Therefore, it is extremely important to maintain and service the automatic voltage stabilizer in daily use.
Daily maintenance and maintenance methods of automatic voltage stabilizers:
(1) Strengthen daily inspections, maintenance and regular testing; frequently observe whether the cooling fan and transmission mechanism of the automatic voltage stabilizer are operating normally, check whether the input voltage and load exceed the rated range, and deal with abnormalities in a timely manner; Look at the appearance. Mainly check whether there is oil leakage on the outside of the automatic voltage stabilizer, whether there is smoke or discharge from the components. The automatic voltage stabilizer may leak oil due to loose welding of the automatic voltage stabilizer shell or loose rubber pads. If the oil level is too low, the insulation protection will be lost, resulting in discharge between the conductive parts or between the conductive parts and the shell. In severe cases, the automatic voltage stabilizer will be burned.
(2) Clean all parts carefully, especially the carbon brushes, and the exposed parts of the contact voltage regulator to remove dirt; Check the oil stains on the transformer and the dust on the high and low voltage bushings, and clean and wipe off the oil stains and dust in time to prevent flashover discharge in humid or rainy weather, which may cause short circuits between bushings, blow the high voltage fuses, and prevent the transformer from operating normally.
(3) Check whether the internal parts and wire ends are loose; shake the insulation resistance of the transformer and check whether the leads are firm. Pay special attention to whether the low voltage outlet connection is in good contact and whether the temperature is abnormal.
(4) Check and replace the primary and secondary fuses regularly. It is strictly forbidden to use aluminum wire instead of fuses. As we all know, the primary fuse protects the system, and the secondary fuse protects the automatic voltage stabilizer. The fuse selection must be adapted to the capacity of the automatic voltage stabilizer.
